Wet N' Wild Dream Weavers - We're Blasting Off (Swatches & Makeup Look)

I will never be able to proclaim my love for Wet N' Wild enough...never ever ever..EVER.

Recently, they released the Dream Weavers collection. It's a collection of 6 different, limited edition eyeshadow trios. Luckily, I was able to find all 6!
I plan on doing future makeup looks or tutorials with these trios, and the first one I chose to use was the We're Blasting Off trio.
We're Blasting Off is the "tamest" of all 6 of the trios.
A light bubble gum pink, a brownish burgundy with pink shimmer, and a light champagne color are what's included in this trio. My only complaint is that the light pink color is slightly chalky. Besides that, though, this is a great palette.

For this makeup look you see to the left, I used all Wet N' Wild products on the eyes, with the exception of liner, mascara, and lashes.

Kelly Rowland at The X-Factor Press Launch: Wedges = WIN

Two days ago, Kelly Rowland attended a press launch for the tv show/competition The X-Factor, which is aired in the UK.
Let me just say her entire outfit was awesome, but those shoes...*fans self*
Honey child...those wedges are TDF (to die for) !!
The dress, a backless number from the Versace Fall/Winter 2011-2012 collection, was stunning. She paired the cocktail dress with a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti wedge booties.

And check out her makeup!
I love how she complimented the green of her dress with green on her lower lid. Her lashes are pretty darn awesome too!

For those of us who can only dream of the Giuseppe Zanotti wedge booties, I may have a nice, cheaper alternative...
these wedges can be found on Forever21.com for $27.80. Quite a bargain, eh?

So what do you think of Kelly's whole look? Hot or not?

Mac Semi Precious Collection: Swatches & My Thoughts

Hey peeps!
Guess what happeend to me yesterday? For the first time ever, someone STOLE a package of mine!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT?!?!
So all day, I've been...

Yup. That pretty much explains how I felt all day. Inside the package this thief freak'n stole were two very hard to find nail polishes....one was Essie's Cindy-rella, a polish I've been searching for for months now, and the other was a polish by Elizabeth Arden, a company that doesn't even MAKE polish anymore! *weeps*
Why must some people be so cruel, unkind, and stupid? I just don't get it...

Alrighty... enough of my pity party!

As you guys know if you saw my recent mac haul video already, I made a purchase from the Mac Semi Precious collection. My purchase was small compared to a lot of other people, but these eyeshadows were not cheap!

From this collection I got:  Golden Gaze, Smoked Ruby, Blue Sheen, & Gem of Roses!

Here's the swatches:
from L - R: Gem of Roses, Blue Sheen, Smoked Ruby, Golden Gaze

I loved all the shadows! They all had EXCELLENT pigmentation and staying power. But the star of the show had to be...

  GOLDEN GAZE!!!!

I would probably marry this eyeshadow if I could...just sayin'...
I already did a makeup look with this lovely shadow that you can check out HERE!

Soooo basically, grab Golden Gaze while you still can! Gem of Roses lipstick is nice, but not a MUST-HAVE. The other eyeshadows are great too, but probably more difficult to integrate into an everyday eye look. Which is why I like Golden Gaze so much..*hugs Golden Gaze*

Did you pick up anything from the Semi Precious collection? If so, what'd ya get? If not, what would you like to get?

My LuLus.com Order Featuring A Jeffrey Campbell Look-a-Like!

I hadn't ordered from Lulus in FOREVER...(well over a year)
but then I saw THESE:

Aren't they lovely? *_*
They're by the brand Qupid. When I saw them, I knew I'd have to get them! I don't have any all black heels. Yes...my wardrobe is lacking the basics =(

Then it hit me..I've seen these before! Don't they remind you of something verrry familiar?

YES! They are the cheaper, more budget-friendly version of the Jeffrey Campbell Lita!!!
The Lita sells for about $165 while the shoe I purchased, the Qupid Puffin Lace Up Booties, sell for $45. You DID read that correctly...$45 !!!!&$^#%!%@

I can't wait to receive my order so that I can show you guys how they look in real life! I'm truly excited because I've had my eye on the Litas for a long time, but I wasn't willing to shell out $165 for them. Now I don't have to! Whoohoo :D
If you're interested, I found the Lita look-a-like HERE
What do you think of these Qupid shoes?
Have you ever owned any before? If so, how did you like them?
If not, are you interested now? I know I am!

Nail Of The Day: Sally Hansen FIrst Kiss (Spring 2011 Tracey Reese Collection)

I'm not the biggest fan of pink polish, but for this baby I'll make an exception!

Pink salmon-y goodness ♥
It truly works with darker skin tones wonderfully!
I've worn this polish all week though...it's past chip-tastic at this point. I SERIOUSLY need to change my nail color >_<

what do you think of Sally Hansen's First Kiss?

Also, here's a song that's been stuck in my head all day by one of my favorite "unknown" artists Teedra Moses. The song is called "Last Day" ^_^

July Favorites 2011!

I never usually do a "Favorites" post on my blog, but this month I figured...why not?

I didn't have too many new beauty or fashion favorites this month...

the three "beauty" favorties were:
- Sally Hansen Crackle Overcoat in Antiqued Gold
- Lip Smackers in Fanta Strawberry
- Mac Pro Longwear Foundation

I was skeptical when purchasing the Sally Hansen crackle topcoats, only because I had heard such negative things about them after they were released. However, Antiqued Gold is a great crackle topcoat! Not only does it dry fast, it also looks great over every color! It also cracks very nicely on the nail.

I always love Lip Smackers lip balms. Always. I think you're never too old for Lip Smackers!
I bought a variety pack a few months ago, and so far my favorite out of the pack is Fanta Strawberry. It's very moisturizing, and tastes just like strawberry soda. What's not to love about that?

As far as the Mac Pro Longwear foundation, I find the formula to be very similar to their Studio Fix Fluid. The only difference is that it lasts way longer! It lasts all day for me. I can put in on in the morning, and not touch it up at all throughout the day. I ♥ it!

Also, this past month, my love for Big Red gum was rekindled...
I bought two packs last month...chewed it all the time...I was addicted -__-

BUT
Wrigley's has raised their gum prices!!!
WHAT THE HECK WRIGLEY! I don't wanna pay $1.50 for a slim pack of gum! >:o

whatever though...darn economy...

If you want to know about my other favorites this month, please check out my video below =)

Outfit Of The Day 7/31/2011

I love mixing colors and patterns!
This outfit feels more Spring-y to me, but I just had the strongest urge to wear that jacket...

Flats: Forever 21
